About Us

Plymouth (Junior) Hockey Club (PHC) was founded in 1984 and is the oldest junior hockey club in the city. We cater for boys and girls from 4-16 years and enjoy the loyalty of former members.

The club is affiliated to England Hockey and is currently awaiting final accreditation of the Clubmark.

PHC is operated solely by enthusiastic parents and friends for the benefit of all young people up to 16 years (currently) regardless of skill or ability. The Club adheres to England Hockey's 'Single System'. Young players are engaged with the 'Player Pathway' at the earliest opportunity and their skills and confidence are developed according to their needs.

Our aim is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment in which children can learn and play hockey regardless of ability, gender or social background.
